Longmont, CO -February 18, 2004: FARSIGHT SYSTEMS CORPORATION ANNOUNCES Disassembly support for "z/Debug for IBM z/OS*"
Raw disassembly of a selected program section. z/Debug, release V1R1M0j, is now available for download as a no-cost maintenance update for existing customers and for new product trials. The new disassembly feature supports disassembling a selected program section into machine instruction mnemonics. The displayed machine instructions can be managed like the source level C and High Level Assembler (HLASM) source displays, including all of the usual operations like setting breakpoints, tracing, and stepping. Refer to the updated user's guide for details.
The new disassembly feature of z/Debug is another example of Farsight Systems Corporation commitment to the IBM z/OS software development market by providing low-cost, high-productivity development tools.
z/Debug for IBM z/OS can be ordered for a 60 day free trial by filling out a trial request form. You may then download the product zip file after submitting the request form and an e-mail with the trial license keys will be sent to you.
The user's guide is also available as a separate download.
